Jace would tell him every day if he had to, until Alec actually believed it. It might take forever, but Jace was fine with that.

Jace splayed his fingers out, covering the rune and leaned down to kiss Alec again. "Love you, my parabatai, my Alec," he murmured against his lips, before kissing him hard, shimmying his hips down a little, to start working towards his goal.

He let his mouth wander down to Alec's jawline first, nibbling along the sharp jut of his jaw, then sliding over the length of his throat, licks and kisses as he followed the line of skin down to the hollow of Alec's throat, licking the dip there.
