"I thought I DID," Alec said, laugh throaty, turning into another of those soft groans when Jace bit his ear. "I want that too." Jace was his parabatai, his other half. Alec wanted to share all the things and people he loved with Jace, let him have the same measures of happiness Alec had managed to find here.

Alec kissed him once more, and then pushed himself up, scooting back until he was straddling Jace's legs instead, and then tugging him to sit up so Alec could tug off his shirt, run hands down his bare chest instead.
